Following a hugely successful weeks hiking the Sierra Nevada range in Southern Spain in 2023, Madeira was chosen for our 2024 adventure. A beautiful Island drowning in floral colours with a friendly witty population of some 250,000 people.
We touched down Monday 7th and settled in to our Hotel accommodation on a half board basis. Indoor/ outdoor pools to soothe aches, tennis court and gymnasium to loosen up.
We were fortunate to source a really top class guide with an abundance of knowledge on Island life to share with us daily.Madeira is a very mountainis country giving lots of up & down hikes with spectacular scenery surrounding everywhere.
A great week of hiking, banter, comedy and downtime events left us regretting departure day.
